Address a problem with Flash Player

Flash Player has stopped working properly.

A newer version of this product is available that might solve this problem.

To update Flash Player, follow these steps:

  1. Go to www.adobe.com and search for tn_14157"Click to go online and run the Flash Player uninstaller

  2. In the File Download dialog box, click Run, and then follow the instructions to uninstall flash player.

  3. Click to go online and install the Flash Player updateClick to go online and install the Flash Player update


Additional information for 64-bit browser users

Flash Player is not currently supported in 64-bit browsers. You can run Flash Player in a 32-bit browser running on a 64-bit operating system. For more information, see the TechNote on the Adobe Systems Incorporated website:

What do 32-bit and 64-bit mean?

The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way your computer's central processing unit (CPU) handles information. The 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows are designed for use in computers with 32-bit or 64-bit processors, respectively.

How can I find out if my system type is 32-bit or 64-bit?

  1. Click Start, click Run, type msinfo32, and then click OK.

  2. The system type is listed in the System Information window.
